Sleepy Hollow Police Department
The Police Department is charged with protecting the safety and welfare of the public. The majority of the officers are responsible for patrol duties, Department members serve a number of Special Programs in the area. The philosophy of the Police Department is to be proactive on issues affecting the community. It is essential to develop a cohesive partnership between the Community and the Police. To this end, the Department emphasizes programs that provide interaction and assistance to area residents.

Illinois offers a safe option for a desperate parent in crisis. By handing your unharmed baby, seven days old or younger, to personnel at any hospital, emergency medical facility, staffed fire station, or staffed police station you can walk away with no questions asked.
